programming

I have a combined five years of professional programming experience. My first programming language was C++ which gave me early exposure to object oriented programming. I then began to focus on web programming and am well versed in HTML, PHP, MySQL, CSS, Javascript, Jquery, Flash-Actionscript and other web technologies as well as the entire LAMP stack. While working at the Buck Institute, I took on some scripting tasks and learned Perl in the process. I am able to pick up new programming languages quickly drawing on my broad background in many different arenas of software development. The following projects are examples of my programming experience.

cmcm.tvThis organization used drupal to create their website and required general programming help to get the intricate content type system running.
ourvinylvows.comOur Vinyl Vows is the name of my band and required a website to inform fans about show dates and sell merchandise and our music. The site uses drupal for a base and has a custom built rss aggregation to display show date info.
